A place of worship contains two worlds: one linked to the celebration of the liturgy and one related to the exaltation of architecture and works of art. There is no lighting regulation defined yet for sacred sites, be they churches, mosques, synagogues, temples or sanctuaries. Important is to preserve visual comfort, providing luminaires with correct colour rendering index and not too cold light tones. In this way, the location looks at an intimate and enveloping place suitable for the purpose.
