NIDOBLU 'is the result of a project strongly desired to promote the reconciliation between family life and work, open not only to the children of employees but to the entire local community. In these 20 years, more than 1000 children aged 7 to 36 months have experienced an environment and a path inspired by the “Reggio Children” pedagogical philosophy. Inside it also includes an educational farm, a vegetable garden, a flower garden and a park.
To celebrate this special day, the children were involved in the preparations for the party, which saw the presence of important public offices and the cutting of the ribbon of the new almond tree planted in the garden as a wish for life by the President of Performance iN Lighting, Giorgio Lodi.
Many authorities were present, such as Giovanna Piubello, the mayor of the Municipality of Colognola ai Colli, the deputy mayor Michela Bonamini and the ULSS9 Scaligera veterinarian Fabrizio Cestaro, who for years looked after the animals on the farm of the Nursery.
The party ended with the cutting of the cake and the homage to all present of pencils containing seeds to plant, which symbolize, like the almond tree, a wish and a hope of fruitfulness and new life.
