On 1 October 2021 from 6.45 pm Stone Light Streets will be inaugurated, a widespread exhibition, a path along the marble streets, from Marmomac to the laboratories of Valpolicella and Valdadige: here still lies the beating heart of stone worldwide, here today Art, History, Technological Innovation and Landscape Riches meet in an ever-renewed dialogue.
In fact, on the occasion of Marmomac, the International Marble Fair (29 September - 2 October 2021), the studios of the artists Alessandro Guardini, Oscar Sandri and Matteo Cavaioni host the works of the students of the Academy, called to reflect on a specific theme in relation at the Italian Stone Theater Pavilion. A student will be awarded the Donatoni Prize, from Donatoni Macchine s.r.l.
Stone Light Streets is a project promoted by the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona in collaboration with the architect Andrea Yachy Lavezzi and with the artists mentioned above. The ten selected students were guided on a path of confrontation with the material-stone and the place of the exhibition that led them to the design of a work/installation/performance.
Our company is the technical partner of this event and of the Academy, having supplied all the lighting fixtures that will enhance the artistic, architectural and naturalistic qualities of the locations and works on display. In fact, light can offer different interpretations of reality, highlighting certain details and hiding others. Based on these indications, the most suitable light sources and lighting fixtures were identified to determine the relative installation positions to achieve the final goal.
