(also the “Company” for short) in its capacity as Data Controller, wishes to inform you, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 679/2016 on the protection of personal data (the “Regulation” or the “GDPR”) and in accordance with domestic legislation, including the individual measures of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), where applicable, that the personal data you provide will be processed in compliance with legislative and contractual provisions in force for the purposes and in the manner indicated below. We process your data solely in order to respond to your request for information. The legal basis of the data processing is to be found in the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1) b) of the GDPR). Any additional categories of personal data provided by the data subject (e.g. health data or judicial data) will be immediately deleted and will not be processed, if they are not required.
3 | DATA PROCESSING METHODS AND NATURE OF THE DATA PROVISION
Personal data will be processed by the Company and its officials using computerised and manual systems in accordance with the principles of correctness, good faith and transparency provided for by regulatory provisions that protect personal data and safeguard the data subject’s confidentiality and rights, by adopting suitable technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of data security that matches the risk. The provision of the aforementioned data is necessary in order to be able to respond to your requests, and failure to do so will make it impossible for us to fulfil them.
4 | DATA RETENTION
Data processed for the purposes referred to in paragraph 2 of this privacy policy shall be kept only for as long as strictly necessary in order to handle your request, and thereafter such data shall be kept no longer than 2 years from the last contact with the data subject.
5 | COMMUNICATION, DISSEMINATION AND TRANSFER OF DATA
Your data may be shared with specific categories of recipients, provided that their respective data protection credentials/roles and responsibilities have been identified and suitably regulated by contracts with the third party in question. Furthermore, personal data will be communicated to specially appointed employees in the Company who have been duly authorised, trained and instructed by the Data Controller. Personal data are in general not transferred outside the European Union; however, if it becomes necessary to transfer the data to countries outside the European Economic Area, the Company undertakes to guarantee levels of data protection (including contractual safeguards) that comply with applicable regulatory provisions, including the signing of standard contractual clauses.
