Vetroin designs, manufactures and installs state-of-the-art glass and aluminium partition walls for offices. The creation of the company’s new management offices was an opportunity to summarize in a single context, the company’s guiding principles: transparency, functionality and design. In a hybrid space that functions as a showroom, executive offices and meeting rooms, the glass partition walls both exhibit and make use of the company's products at the same time.
In this context, lighting is fundamental. Through lighting consulting by Sarco S.n.c. and PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING products, a concept was developed to enhance the specific qualities of the location.,
For the offices, fixtures were chosen that combine strong formal research with high illumination value.
In the main meeting room, a configuration about 300 centimetres long was made consisting of three LUMINICA suspensions, a configurable lighting system designed by the Spanish firm artec3 Studio, with direct and indirect output that lends a lively dynamism to the entire environment. A DALI-controlled version was selected so that light levels can be dimmed depending on the use of the room, whether for meetings or video conferences.
Used in the executive offices, LIQUID pendant luminaires designed by Walter de Silva, interpret formal research on fluidity and dynamism masterfully consolidated in the crystallization of a moment. This creates an interesting contrast between the transparencies of the environment, the linear rigor of the furnishings and the solidified fluidity expressed by the lighting fixtures.
A combination of recessed ceiling fixtures and AS425 track fixtures were selected and expertly concealed inside a ceiling recess that reveals only the light, for an effect that integrates perfectly with the minimalism of the spaces.
For the operational offices, soft lighting was needed for the maximum visual comfort of the interior designers who work there, so the choice was SL629 PL PRISM D/I pendant with direct and indirect 4000 K light and prismatic diffusers for efficient light diffusion, minimal glare and high uniformity.
